The work at Wings of Hope, Lekol Sen Trinite, and at the St. Joseph Community Outreach Center continues every day, and thus our most important source of support are our sustaining donors.
We offer two sustaining donor programs, Wings of Hope Sponsorship and Roots and Wings Sponsorships, both at various giving levels. Learn below how you can help today.
This long-standing program allows a donor to support the residents of Wings of Hope. Sponsorship is $35 a month (or one annual payment of $420) per resident.
In addition to the knowledge that your contribution is having a direct impact on the life of a young person in Haiti, sponsors get to know the residents through crafts, letters, pictures, school reports, and biographies thoughtfully and regularly prepared by the St. Joseph Family and sent to them. Sponsor one or multiple residents!
Wings resident sponsorship allows the children and young adults to know they are thought about, valued, and loved.
Many of us with big, happy families too often take this for granted, but for a young person that grew up on the streets or as a slave, the care you show through your sponsorship makes a big difference.
In addition to the knowledge that your contribution is having a direct impact on the life of a young person in Haiti, sponsors get to know the resident through letters, pictures, school reports, and biographies thoughtfully and regularly prepared by the St. Joseph Family and sent to your mailing address.
Sponsors are also encouraged to further their bond with their sponsored resident through trips to Haiti.
Roots & Wings Sustained Giving provides a strong foundation for the work of Hearts with Haiti and the St. Joseph Family, helping us plan our current and future activities with the assurance of a strong base of on-going giving and resources
The title is symbolic of the philosophy of the St. Joseph Family. All the lives impacted by the SJF programs — Wings residents, boys supported by St. Joseph’s Home, and the LST students, are given strong roots by the SJF — in the forms of family, care, support, education, faith formation, and more. This anchors them for their futures as productive members of Haitian society. At the same time they are also being given wings to fly — in relation to their futures, their possibilities, and their self-confidence. With the ability to fly and dream, their futures are limitless.
Monthly donors can give at several levels, as listed below. All Roots & Wings monthly sponsors will receive mailings during the year from the St. Joseph Family to update them on the various programs of the SJF.

Partners with WINGS OF PURPLE commit $100 per month (or one annual payment of $1,200). This level of monthly support could, for example:

Partners with WINGS OF YELLOW commit $200 per month (or one annual payment of $2,400). This level of monthly support could, for example:
